14 November of 2014,
Second Friday of the month;
met a stranger over coffee,
just another among billions under the sun;
A formal convo, a few fake smiles,
that was the end of that rendezvous;
and then came the weekend, 2 days' solace,
followed by looming Monday blues.
But for some reason that Monday didnt seem so gloomy,
felt like dressing in something new;
poor me ! didnt have any,
so compromised in a decent brown hue.
Indeed a hectic day for a newbie,
and there I was without a clue;
workshops, KTs and what not ?
A mere 30 min lunch break was a boon !
Knackered and totally exhausted,
reached cabin by 3, checked mail at 3:22 ;
And guess what, there was this guy from Friday,
I didnt think he would actually ensue !
A lync chat followed,
and we decided to meet.
it was going supersonic,
oh, i've olwaz loved the speed !
So, second meet at gate 2,
he stood there smiling, dressed in blue,
"I like walking, do you ?"
bone-tired, but "hell yeah ! I do."
And we started walking...
somewhere en route, I fell for his talking,
No, I'm not the one easy to get to,
but one smile n he gets me all melting.
Well, itz been a year now,
a year worth cherishing...
ethereal memories, a beautiful journey !
so here's a cheers, to this beautiful journey..
